Six services, one 24/7 line
Water problems rarely arrive in neat categories. A burst pipe needs extraction first, drying second, cleanup third and repair last, and each stage is a different job with a different crew and set of tools. This page lays out how our services divide up so you can tell which one fits the situation in front of you.
If you are not sure, call (760) 769-1159 and describe what you see. Dispatch will point you to the right service, and the right service often turns out to be two or three of them in sequence.
Which service fits what you see
The table below matches common situations to the service that usually leads the response. Real losses cross categories, so treat it as a starting point rather than a diagnosis.
| What you are looking at | Lead service | What it covers |
|---|---|---|
| Standing water on the floor | Emergency water removal | Pumps and extraction units remove the water now. |
| Water stopped but walls and floors are wet | Water mitigation | Moisture mapping, tear-out and structural drying in the first 24 to 72 hours. |
| Soaked debris, odors, contaminated surfaces | Water damage cleanup | Removal of ruined materials, sanitizing and odor control. |
| Storm runoff or rising water | Flood damage restoration | Category 2 and 3 water, mud and safe disposal. |
| Everything is dry and needs rebuilding | Water damage repair | Drywall, insulation, flooring, paint and cabinets. |
| Visible or suspected mold after a leak | Mold remediation | Containment, removal and clearance testing. |
How the services work together
A typical ceiling leak from an overflowing AC drain starts with the mitigation crew finding the wet insulation and setting drying equipment, moves to cleanup of the soaked material, and ends with repair of the drywall and paint. A storm loss reverses the order of difficulty, with the dirty water handled first and the rebuild last.
Mold is the one service that follows moisture rather than leading it. Mold needs moisture to grow, so the leak has to be fixed and the area dried before remediation makes sense. Our guides on each service explain where the handoffs happen so nothing is done twice.
What every job includes
Every job starts with an inspection that explains the scope of work and how the price is set, before work begins. We work to the published ANSI/IICRC S500 standard for water and S520 for mold, and you can ask any company whether its crews do the same. We do not offer fire or smoke damage services, and restoration is not waterproofing.
- 24/7 dispatch with same-day response when available
- Licensed and insured restoration professionals
- Written scope of work and documentation for your insurer
- Moisture readings that show when drying is finished
